Download the google toolbar and block all pop ups... erm well yeah but no but yeah but... DOH am I the only one who notices that the pop ups getting through the google tooldbar are from 2 or 3 companies,, DID GOOGLE SELL THEM the code to unblock the pop up,, very suspicious, WHY because now not only can google get a virtual monopoly on searches it wants a virtual monopoly on POP UPS

Theres a myth that google is a respectable company,, its the biggest worldwide hoax. they are storing information on you, every site you surf and they are putting cookies on your computer which last for 36 years YES 36 years

Now with GMAIL it wants a virtual monopoly on SPAM

And when that happens the spammers will find a way to beam pop-up ads into our heads.

I, for one, would like to be the first to welcome our new Googlian overlords.

What's the problem? It's a simple thing to block cookies on IE. You can select what sites to allow cookies and what ones to block. If it's still a problem, just use another search engine; there are plenty to choose from. And who is going to keep the same computer for 36 years?

It is a terrible idea about the spammers in our head. Say, are you really sure that there are none of them there yet?

What I don't get is how come I pay for SKY, yet I have to suffer 10 minute breaks in their programmes for every 15 minutes of actual TV? They should get their money one way, or the other. Makes you realise what good value the BBC license fee is - at least you don't have to have your viewing ruined and they still make most of the best stuff on UK TV. Check out how many "repeat" channels, chock full of ads are using BBC programmes.

Tv channels would never stop advertising the guys in the suits wants more money to come in so the more company who pays these tv channels to advertise their product is great for the guys in the suit but horrible for the viewers.

They are correct they just get those men to run around because they want to distribute and sell wholesale goods like football tops and footballs on wholesale websites!

I never watch TV. I use my computer to see the bbc news over internet. I always felt most tv programs adversely affect our children's mind.
