Okay, what's going on with the 'fake doctor notes' thread on my blog?

It's quickly becoming one of the most popular topics. Just comment after comment saying 'I need a doctor's note for...'

Is there some kind of joke that I'm not getting? Or is this just some kind of weird random thing that people enjoy posting?

With your initial income (don't give up the day job just yet........which you don't really have anyway) you can spread the word so many, many more people from all over the world will come to you for fake doctor notes. 40 bucks will scare them off. If you have a crummy job you may not make much more a day. May as well call in sick for real.
BugbearSloth	Posted: Tue Dec 07, 2004 \| 05:33 PM I added one of my own just for fun. Please don't charge me $10 or $40, though. According to the article you linked to, the doctor who is (or was) doing this was charging $40, so I don't think the $40 idea is outrageous. It would be worth it to not lose your job or flunk out of school. Plus, Alex, don't you have a PhD in Hoaxology or something? That makes you a real doctor!
