You put punctuation inside the quotation marks when it's actually inside a real quote, I did not use it in a real sentence, just bits.
(I was not using a direct quote.)

I'm disappointed the Tree Octopus isn't real! I am searching for infomation on endangered octopi and am specifically interested in orange flesh tones. When I saw the pic of the Tree Octopus, my instant reaction was one of joy that I could have found such an incredible creature and never heard of it before! Well, anyway, it was great to have such excitement for a few minutes. I do think it is unfortunate that there is a not a disclaimer anywhere on the site. Even if it seems like hoax material would be obvious, it would be polite to the larger learning community to have such a disclaimer to save time. Thanks for all the postings that confirmed by doubts about the site! |

thank you for raising awareness of the plight of the Tree Octopus. your work will not be in vain. already, it seems, others are gathering to lend their support in saving these rare and beautiful creatures.
nevermore shall schoolchildren be limited to their beliefs in a marine-only cephalopod.
Save the Tree Octopus!! |

THE CYNICISM EXPRESSED ON SOME OF THE ABOVE COMMENTS IS TROUBLING. I SUSPECT THAT SOME THESE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THE WORLD IS FLAT, TOO. |
