Chav women, the Daily Mail wrote recently, 'pull their shoddily dyed hair back in that ultra-tight bun known as a "council-house facelift", wear skirts too short for their mottled blue thighs, and expose too much of their distressingly flabby midriffs'.

Certainly brilliant! Update: There has been a great (as in notably large in size) debate regarding the specific status of Chavs, Neds, Townies...etc. It is apparent now, that this world of people DO exist. For information on why/how Chavs are/are not cool, scroll through the following posts. Otherwise, another post regarding why/how Chavs are/are not cool is probably not necessary.
I've been on that website before...I don't think it's necessarily a hoax...more like someone poking fun at a particular fashion display.

And just to add my $0.02, I think they look really ridiculous & when I see them I mentally tally up their chav points. (I'm in the U.S., we don't call them chavs...we usually call them R&B artists!)

i think that the creation of web sites about the peasant underclass is a worthwhile activity. It is funny, i dislike these peasans because they annoy me, although i must admit i am somewhat smitten by one myself
