That may be true but throwing tantrums at people who have nothing to do with it only make you look like a little child and, at best, people will ignore you. At worst they will take the opportunity or antagonize you further because it's fun. |

You had to go and spoil it didn't you. I had a month's worth of baiting planned and off you go and 'tip him the wink'!
I was going to rile him for a week with how his button bashing had rendered it impossible for him to use a keyboard properly.
I was all set to imply his inability to string a cogent argument (or recognizable sentence) together were due to video games eroding his attention level.
I had a ton of vitriol scripted around how, 'when he reached puberty', he'd wind up as one more hoody-wearing thug making our malls look untidy.
Gone. Wasted. All useless now.
Oh well! I guess I'll just play another level of Metroid Prime then go mug a pensioner or two.

Where's the fun in hurdling the dead? It's like walking on very squishy carpet. |

There's one thing people need to remember; IT'S NOT REAL. Both the people who criticise and the people who play the games/watch the films/[insert activity here]. Any idiot who goes out and shoots someone in real life so they can recreate their favourite bit of Quake is probably stupid enough to get themselves into trouble anyway, computer games or not.

Paul is just one of those people who thinks that banning something solves a problem. Just because Halo involves shooting opponets, it doesn't mean that players will go out and shoot coworkers or classmates. God for bid, we see a violent video game. The things that are making youth turn violent are the parents and places they live in. Stop blamming it on a defenseless black box under your TV. And take away the guns before you take away the games. |
