Is thisa hoax? A friend tellls me there is no Nancy Butler, Lawyer, at the address given. BREAKING---KERRY TO UNCONCEDE IF THERE IS EVIDENCE OF FRAUD
FORWARD TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW
EMAIL FROM DC LAWYER CYNTHIA BUTLER
I am angry and getting emails and recrimination from people wondering why KERRY just caved and is not fighting this before the final count in Ohio, before any of the fraud was challenged, before New Mexico and Iowa even came in.
There is widespread feeling that he did not lose the election and that it was taken from him.
There is enough here to warrant investigation and enough to challenge the results. It's coming from all corners.
I understand that he has until the official count certification in Ohio to Un Concede which is several days from now.
Anyone who thinks that he should unconcede should give reasons why - whatever they noticed, particularly in Red Republican Governed States using electronic machines- and send them directly to Cameron KERRY, John Kerry's brother at his law firm at the address .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
They should inform us if they were not allowed to vote provisionally (for whatever reason- they lost forms, ran out of forms, etc.) I personally witnessed a number of things as I reported in Texas with the DCCC. (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee)
If you know anyone in particular in Ohio who tried to vote and was turned away at the polls please get their information and notify the campaign.
They should be notified if they experienced lines longer than four hours -particularly elderly or infirm people (we call that torture when they do it to political prisoners) . They should be notified if people were told as has been reported that due to too many people showing up in African American precincts, particularly in Ohio where there were too few booths (some only had two or three for the entire precinct) and told because of heavy turn out they could vote on Wednesday. If the numbers of these sorts of incidents creates a percentage margin that exceeds the margin of victory- Un Concession has to be made to challenge the count.
If people wanted to and tried to vote and were prevented or actively discouraged from doing so, that is a Civil Rights matter and must be dealt with in terms of the ultimate count.
This is the last email that I am writing on this subject in this venue. I am taking it up in other venues.
Please pass along this to your listservs so that we may make Democracy Work in America. We are not a country where he who cheats best wins.

Hmm...Boycott! That reminds me of another Name Game. This Irish guy was trying to collect rent & when no one would (could) pay him, they decided to use his name to refer to what they were doing. They "Boycott-ed" paying their rent.
I thought that attorney-client privelage was ONLY privelage between an attorney and THEIR client. As I know it, anyone not being rep'd by the atty can discuss their case at will. Actually, Alex, your post could be considered something like you trying to find legal aid. Oh geez, I'm not going to be sued now am I?
Jeez, Louise! Reputational Injury? Well, if you go by this site...your reputation is...to be long-winded & dreadfully DULL! I'm sorry I can't allow the motion. ::bangs gavel::
Also...The majority of the posts here are YOURS missy! The posts are voluntary. So you voluntarily injured your own reputation?! You practically begged Alex B. to delete your posts before...which is proof that you feel your comments should not be mentioned, which is construed here as an apology.
Apology accepted Cynthia L. Butler! I'm so glad you've conceded. ;o) |

Less for the benefit of "Cynthia", and more to clear the record, I find Alex very fair, very informed, and very tolerant of strident edge-pushers. "Cynthia" is clearly having fun at this site's expense. Unfortunately, any points she is trying to make are lost in the sheer volume of her posts. "Cynthia": if you have a point related to the thread, please be polite enough to be concise and brief. It appears that the general operating procedure here is to make reference to the thread topic, offer a short opinion, and direct us toward an URL, for those interested in more info. Again, I think "Cynthia" is pulling our collective leg. |

Cynthia is trolling (posting inflammatory comments trying to get a response). I tried to IP ban her, but apparently that didn't work. |

It's not about me kids-
Neither I nor anything I have posted is a Hoax so none of it belongs on this site while the vituperation abounds astoundingly--
ONCE AGAIN-
See RedefeatBush.Com
Democrats.Com
Truthout.Com
-and the hundreds of other sites listed in the Live Journal updates;
Yes, I have begged, pleaded and threatened to sue Alex to get him to get this material off the site- but unfortunately he finds it more profitable to let everyone have a free rant-fest at my expense.
So kids- here we are-
Last time-
The Live Journal site is
http://www.livejournal.com/community/johnkerry04/624056.html
Now go ahead and tear me up like smarmy pit bull chewing a rag doll if you like- I am not going to go back into this site again because it's standards for truth in journalism lack much.

I'm hurt, really I am. I thought for sure my suggestion to Cynthia concerning her own blog was a wonderful idea. I am sure many would find it as informative as her posts here have been. I am ignored once again.

Alex, our friend "Cynthia" claims on her Live Journal site that she and her compatriots have cooerced you into dropping a thread and some posts. Do you care to comment and offer some details, or is she hoaxing us? Hmmm? Touchy subject, I know, but my interest is piqued (not unlike observers at a tragedy). |

Ah, Cynthia. I'm beginning to enjoy this strange encounter with her, in a twisted sort of way. No, I haven't deleted any posts. And as you can see, this thread is still here. What I did do was delete her email address, in the 3 or 4 places that she mentioned it. |

Has anyone ever heard of drunken turkey? Where you cook your turkey over a beer can? This is sort of what's happened to Cynthia. She's been soaked with a can of "I'm so smart that I use smarmy like it's everyday speak." And now, she's cookin' in it.
Puh-LEASE. Maybe if we pretend she's not here she'll go away. OR!! If we say, "I DON'T BELIEVE IN CYNTHIAS", and no one claps afterwards!
Say it with me folks:
I DON'T BELIEVE IN CYNTHIAS! |

Here is what I suggest you focus your tabloid obsessive compulsive need to annhialate on;
Did Condy Rice and George Bush have an affair before he cleaned up his act, got sober in the 80s (just before he was turning 40-something) when Laura threatened to leave him and while she worked for his Dad and subsequently became his "Foreign Policy Tutor" after getting the patronage cush job as Provost at Stanford?
There's a Gold's gym "work-out partner" exclusive for your Enquiring minds.
Go at em folks.
I have learned the secret of contentment whether I am believed to exist or not.
As long as my clients pay me, and my friends and family still calls everyone else can think I am the toothfairy's elder elf cousin. |

Cynthia, I checked out your live journal blog. I was gratified to see that you posted an assertion that members of this message board were claiming you were a hoax, a republican merc-blogger, or Karl Rove himself. I must confess that those suggestions were mine, and while the other members are welcome to share them, are not necessarily the opinions of the site host or advertisers. Your blog says that Alex removed your posts- Alex says he merely removed your e-mail address, as is his policy. Your political intent is well understood, and appereciated by many, I'm sure. This is a HOAX site, so it seemed only appropriate to wonder if your posts were indeed a hoax. I'm glad to note the brevity of your latest post; it counteracts my long-winded drivel here. Good luck

Here's who else doesn't exist by the way so long as we are playing the let's stick our heads in the sand ostrich Denial-is-Not-A-River-In Egypt game;
Jesse Jackson who just held an enormously well attended rally in Ohio this week-end talking about challenging the Election results-
The People for the American Way Election Protection attorneys who just filed suit in State Court in Ohio-
Cobb- the Independent candidate who started the Ohio recount rally cry who originally funded it-
And the team of over 1,000 attorneys involved in either suing on the results or recount efforts
Let's see - who else doesn't exist-------
Just don't tell me Santa doesn't exist. I still believe it and am counting on him to bring me a Kerry upset.
Now I promise to go away if you all change the subject to grown up talk.

Hmm...Alex, going back to the Notify me when someone replies...
How do I stop getting replies when I checked the box once, but then decided I didn't really want to be notified any more? I've replied & un-checked the box...but apparently that doesn't cancel out the last check! |

"Cynthia", speculating as to whether or not your email is a hoax is grown up talk. That is what we do here: talk about hoaxes and suspected hoaxes. As Alex has said before, there are other forums for long-winded, incoherent, politcal rants. We are not interested in discussing the politics in your silly email.
Having a recount is does not necessarily mean that fraud is suspected. It is quite possible that, given all of the new voting techniques used in this year's election, things did not go as planned in all cases.
Your "See! They're doing recounts in Ohio! This proves I'm right!" Argument really doesn't hold water, seeing as how Nader has been saying that he is going to call for recounts in Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and one other state since 11/04. And, he has been acting on what he has said. Nader is driving these recounts, and the Democrats have said that they will join him in the recount in Ohio, last I heard (which is before you started your email).
Your alarmist "the elections were a fraud and Kerry is going to unconcede" message still appears to be a hoax. |

BugBear Sloth- what the H kind of name is that? Do you People READ? First (a) it's not my title, (b) it's not my posting- I didn't ONCE post this email anywhere so I not guilty of hoaxing anyone- it was picked up and blasted over the web without my permission and has been superceeded by Cameron Kerry's email and the emails from the Ohio lead attorney and Kerry himself- and finally (c) If there WAS HARD EVIDENCE OF FRAUD Kerry would "Un-Concede" in a New York minute. No one has proved Fraud yet. But the call is out.
So Let me be clear. This email and this entire thread is misplaced on this thread. But anything to make ALEX a buck if can't make an honest living.
Now, I am done folks. The only thing silly is this long diatribe of mean spirited obnoxious ridiculous failure to read the news.
ALEX- I DO NOT WISH TO BE NOTIFIED OF ANY MORE OF THESE LITTLE DIATRIBES.
Take me OFF your Email notification list. I have asked repeatedly before like Miss Meagan who is also apparently tired of the tirades.
I am going to have to notify AOL of spam if this keeps up. READ PEOPLE, READ. There are only like forty thousands sites out there talking about all of this. |

Cynthia, please calm down. I had asked to be notified of this singular post & now can't figure out how to reverse it. I'm not in any panic over it. Also, I DID request it...and apparently you did too. It's not SPAM. And I AM tired of the tirades...but you're the only one tirading!
Also, I'm not MEAgan, I'm MAEgan. It even sounds different when you say it. I'm very particular about it, because it defines me from the masses!! ;o)
P.S. You also made a point that everyone got your name correct, I just thought it a little ironic that you'd mess up mine. Like this guy I knew who's last name was Khounvixay & HIS name got spelled correctly, but at the same business, my name had been spelled Meagan, Meghan, Megan...in 3 different places no less! Anyway...I'm going off-topic. =o) |
