a friend tipped me off to this, i don't know, it just doesn't seem possible: http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/conditions/10/27/half.ton.man.ap/
this guy weighs 1k pounds - i've never heard of anyone weighing more than 600...it sounds a bit fishy, but hey it could be real. i'm going to scout around and see if its possible to survive at that weight.

I seem to remember someone weighing around a half ton in the Guiness Book of World Records. |

Looks legitimate to me. But at that weight I don't imagine a person could move around much. |
