 a week ago my brother Daniel said that the orange was considred an ahprodisiac in medival times.is this true?

Your brother's right. Do a google search for oranges and aphrodisiac and you'll pull up a bunch of stuff. Of course, whether or not oranges actually are an aphrodisiac is another question.
