Koran Quran 911 9:11

This seems to use some correct references of the Bible to lead people into believong an incorrect passage from the Koran / Quran
Can anyone support this 9:11 passage?
Here is the email i received:
IRAQ - VERY INTERESTING - DID YOU KNOW?
1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.
2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!
3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.
4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.
5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
6. Isaacs wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq.
7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.
9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
10. Amos cried out in Iraq!
11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.
12. Daniel was in the lions den in Iraq!
13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq) also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)
14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the writing on the wall in Iraq.
15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.
16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
17. The wise men were from Iraq.
18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The Empire of Man described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq!
And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.
The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.
Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.
No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated it than Iraq.
And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...
The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)
Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !

So, I should support the troops, but not what they do? I should believe that they are good people who just happen to be willing to go and kill other people without a good reason? Wrong. The troops do what they do BECAUSE they are good people, not in spite of it. The war is the right thing to do, and the US and our troops are the only ones with the guts to do it.
And in case any are curious, I am a veteran. |

There is no proof involved in faith. All religion is based on faith not proof. By attempting to coopt science and re-write historical fact to prove your faith you belittle your belief.
The bible proves nothing it was written by men in a language most of us cannot read years after the events described either took place or didn't. If you belive it is true then most passages can be interpreted to mean just about anything you want. Just ask the Branch Davidians, the Mormons, the World Church of the Creator (racist group), or the Reverend Moon.
Your belief is just that - your belief. It means something to you and if it helps you get throught the reality of this life - then that is a good thing. If on the other hand you need to save other people - then back off. Who are we to pass judgement?
Science and religion are not inherently opposed to eachother.
The article is total crap a feeble attempt at the Socratic method. If a, b, c, & d are true the e must also be true. Sure if you're a moron.
Regarding the flood and the ark. Come on. Wouldn't there be some record of a geological event of that magnitude? Where did all the fresh water fish go? I assume the flood covered the entire planet right? 99.5% Salt water.

Jim I'm happy for you. Let's hope your life holds more promise than just being a veteran. There are plenty of veterans drinking away their sorrows at the local vet club wondering why their best friend is a beer can and a remote control.
War doesn't solve problems - $1 billion a week. Where is the ROI in that? I'm a businessman and that is a bad investment. Not to mention the people dying.
And, in care you're curious, I graduated from a military academy.

I was trying so hard not to respond to the complete, and total escrement that is being spewed by a few lost children who apparently are so full of shit that's all spills forward like a broken septic drain line spewing into the clear blue river of truth. Yeah, you are specifically pathetic. Military Acadamy my ass! War isn't designed to solve problems. Dumbass! It's to kill as many dumbasses, such as yourself, as possible to keep them in check and not pollute the rest of the world. Too bad you wern't a country, because people like you deserve to be turned into a glass parking lot. F.U. And by the way every archoligical dig and historic writting support what the bible has said. Look it up asswipe if you can remove you head out of your ass long enough for your eyes to focus? Probably not though. It says in Daniel 12:8-10 "but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand." I think God just called you a "dumbass". By the way don't bother responding I'm shutting off the response notification because of your uncilil ways. I pray you find the Truth. The reason he doesn't come and walk on water for YOU is He already did it and had His own deciples turn on Him. It's in some peoples nature....Like YOURS. But let me remind you of this little fact....everyone dies and you didn't make me! Who made you???????????????????!!!!!!!!! |

Lee, You misspelled "excrement". You seem pretty angry, Lee. Is that how Jesus tells you to respond to post's you disagree with? |

Dear Sixpack, It is completely useless to ask a MINDLESS DRONE like Lee if that's how Jesus would want him to respond. The reason being is that he can just interpret his vague guidlines anyway necessary in order to suit his current needs. WWJD??? Besides, you can't really blame them... they've been duped their entire lives right down to giving a set amount of their income (10% - Why does God need money?) by a bunch of controlling perverted priests. The mere thought or someone even asking questions elicits a response of anger and violence? When you're discussing a supposed ALL-LOVING diety? His reaction only serves to cement the obvious, just another aspect of behaviour drilled into him by a corrupt intitution. Not that science or society are all that great themselves but this whole church / religion thing is SO corrupt and it's ideas so corrupted that their response / defense obviously points towards the truth. |

mjn, The whole anger thing comes from being quiet so long while self proclaimed "enlightened ones" such as yourself spew contrieved sudo intelectual "knowledge" like it's fact written in stone, and when you stepped on my fellow vetern who protected "your" GOD GIVEN RIGHTS I couldn't take any more. Go to a Godless country and see how many rights you have!!! NO!? But you'll set here on your protected self indulgent rear and scream demands when you're protected...It's common knowledge that Christian minds, with "God Given" right built this country that allow such "self" serving, self destructive idealisms that you self subscribe to. Protected by a 90%+ christian military, Blessed by a loving/living God. My anger also comes from your complete lack of understanding on any manner concerning mankind. You are a spoiled rotten little brat who has to be restrained and spanked for your own good. And not only for your own good but that of all mankind. If you had it your way you would be in a slave labor camp, all the women would be in sex camps or in ovens, and all the strong, Christian and "good" people would be exicuted. Think it can't happen!!!??? Look at history "oh enlightened one" ALL IT TAKES FOR EVIL TO CONQUER IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING. and I'm tired of being a lap dog for Satan. I bet you think Einstien is an idiot because he said "God doesn't play dice." Meaning every thing is designed by a Designer not left to chance. And Quantium physics states a single protien molecule is beyond the odds of chance to be considered "impossible" that it created itself. If anyone disagrees w/ these comments please do your homework and research the facts before responding. I know the only response liberals can come up w/ is " No it isn't" or " Yes it is!!. Come on have a little more "self" respect. |

Dear Mr. Fanatic, (aka Lee) You crack me up! For your information, I myself am a veteran. AG2 in the USN with the mobile team out of Yokuska, Japan. I'm HARDLY a spoiled little brat... just willing to discuss without acting like a fanatic when subjects to which I don't agree are brought up. You said about me and other like me something like...
'spew contrieved sudo intelectual "knowledge" like it's fact written in stone,'
to which I would like for you to show me where and exactly with what I did this? In fact it is you who are doing this because you've let your emotion control your response to this dialogue. Einstein and MOST of quantum physics involve (here's the important part for you to remember and look up in the dictionary) THEORIES. Einstein's "theory" of relativity, etc. etc. They might very well have some truth to them, be all truth, or be all bunk... however, YOU'RE the one who seems to forget that in the end they are theory. Do you know the meaning of that word? Go to a Godless country you intruct me? Well... it would seem that I've done just that huh? Considering the lengths THIS country (USA)is going to in order to distance itself from GOD. i.e.-seperation of church and state. Can't even put the 10 commandments (which are a good idea no matter their origin) in a court house where the voters clearly want them??? I am in a godless country. My rights as a human being aren't God-given... please otherwise where was he for all the other humans in history... my rights are human given driven by enlightenment of society. Boo-hoo... funny how every time someone doesn't agree w/ your point of view you resort to violence... and now your posting of spanking me??? You're a priest aren't you Lee? Perv...
If you had it your way you would be in a slave labor camp, all the women would be in sex camps or in ovens, and all the strong, Christian and "good" people would be exicuted.
What the hell is this all about? You are such a fruit-loop fanatic... If I had "my" way "I'd" be in a slave labor camp??? Seems to me like you're the one who wants to do away w/ anyone who has differing beliefs, not me. You can believe what ever you want... you're the one ranting at everyone else because they don't agree w/ you. Sound's a little like Islam to me... "kill all who don't agree..."
And Quantium physics states a single protien molecule is beyond the odds of chance to be considered "impossible" that it created itself.
No it doesn't... in fact that was addressed on this website just recently and data / computations were addressed via a link. You do your homework... or go pray... or go plan on how you can do away w/ an infidel like me... Fanatic. Simple minds like yours are what are holding back the human race... and the reason there's still violence in the name of your ALL-LOVING, ALL-FORGIVING God... you are so blind in your brainwashed state that you don't even see the irony and confliction in these matters. Even the bible contradicts itself... God loves all, forgives all, destroys all, kills all, orders the killing of his own children... PLEASE. You're just a close-minded, ignorant, brain-washed SUCKER... who gets pissed when anyone suggests as much. I bet free speech just pisses you off to no end huh? |

It's spelled "pseudo-intellectual", Lee and MJN. "Pseudo" is a greek prefix meaning "false".
When Einstein said "God doesn't play dice" he was referring to the probablaistic nature of quantum physics. He was speaking metaphoriclly, and he was later proved wrong, because there IS in fact a randomness to quantum mechanics. So,metaphoriclly speaking, God DOES play dice. |

Iraq is a place of deep roots, but many of the ancient artifacts are gone now, thanks to inadequate protection during the war. Thank goodness we've clensed Iraq of all that dang history. |

To those of you who "Think" 1-19 are correct - STUDY the Bible - you will find that they are not all correct. Some are makes it easier to send through a lie... (On question ever search the Bible for "The Empire of Man" ?? ) How about 10 tribes versus 12 tribes of Israel ?)
As for the Quran verse (sure sounds so beautiful with spacious skys..does it not.. ) But it is not True ...So before you give Carte Blanche to bits and pieces because they are said to be "from the Bible" - do a little checking - do you sit in the pew on sunday morning and believe every word preached - or do you check it out in the Bible and Pray and Ask God what he meant when he gave it to men by inspiration of his Holy Spirit. |

If I'm not mistaken, the passage referred to as having come from the Koran sounds very similiar to modern translations of Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51 from the Bible. In the King James is reads slightly differently, but nonetheless contextually the same. I've received this email now in three different forms, this one being the most misleading where the Quran 9:11 passage is concerned. As indicated in previous posts however, specific to the biblical information, all of that is accurate to my recollection. |

lecleaner,
Did you read all the posts' or just the last few? There are a few on here who seem to believe most / some / all of the message. Take "Lee" for example... read some of his posts. Yes a lot of boneheads do indeed post here... like yourself for example. People, as a whole, have a bad habit of opening mouth and inserting foot. Making themselves look like an idiot by speaking without taking time to think about what they're going to say first. Good-day...

All the Bible references are likely true, except Peter did not preach in Iraq. Simon the Zealot did - a different Simon than Simon Barjona (Peter). No one knows where the Garden of Eden actually was but given the reference to the great rivers it was likely in Iraq.
The Koran quote is a fraud. However, there is an interesting Bible quote in Isaiah:
Isaiah 14: 4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; |
