Pentagon Plane

Here is a Flash animation that perpetuates the hoax of a French author about what happened at the Pentagon on 9/11/01. The implication is that it was not a plane that hit but a missle.

However, despite the claim that there was no aircraft wrekage, a short Google search leads to many images showing twisted aluminum, luggage and an engine. Selective images can be used to promote any absurd theory, as any examination of a 'Moon Program was a hoax' site will show

From what I gather, the airspace around the pentagon (and the White House, Capitol, etc) are restricted but there is so much air traffic in the immediate area (this is Washington) that a regularly scheduled flight that diverts simply moves to fast for anyone to react before the crash. Nobody expected suicides with passenger jets but rather a possible aerial attack from smaller, slower aircraft or sea-based attack planes (although a small prop-plane did manage to crash in to the White House a few years ago). |

I used to work in the building across the highway from the Pentagon. It was a plane that hit the Pentagon. Anyone claiming it wasn't is being stupid, in my opinion. There were many people who witnessed the crash. To say a plane didn't hit that building is saying those people on that flight didn't exist...and I think their grieving families would disagree. |

Hairy, just saw your question. Must have overlooked it.
Our government wants us to be "alert".
And they are. If you forget a suitcase, box, pile of books they seal of entire train-bus stations, airports for HOURS.
After the murder of Theo van Gogh a lot of arrests were made. Some of the suspects had links to those who bombed the trains in Spain in march.
So after a few shake-ups....Holland is waking up to 9/11. |

Hairy, On the US. Well.....Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.........but our guys are there. Luckily with only 1(? or 2) deaths.
It's all down to Bush....we don't like him much. The dutch would have voted for Kerry (not me.....newspaper poll).
The dutch want you to catch Osama Bin Laden and kick his ass until he can't feel his legs no more (just like any normal thinking person). |

Wait a minute: On the Bush-Kerry thing. I wouldn't have voted for Bush either. I meant I didn't dream it up. Couple of newspapers actually took a poll. |

Paul- my condolences on the whole Theo Van Gogh affair. Another mess made worse by hatred. As an American, I too, would like to see Osama get his, but there is no shortage of idiots here who think Osama was in with Saddam, even after all that has happened. Very sad. Hatred and Bigotry win out over common sense and decency too many times, I'm afraid. Thank you for your comments |

America does hide many things, this is fact. The matter of something hit/exploded at the pentagon is fact. Conspiracy theories come from many places, but I personaly belive most of what our gov said was true. There is alot of evidence a plane hit the building. Now to prove it wrong comes down to physics. To completely prove that there was no plane, we would have to fly another plane into the building at exactly the right hight, speed, and angle. Another fact is that many people saw this happen. My concern is so many people saw the plane, and the impact, but many of these witnesses have completely different stories. After reading Ive seen people who stated no light poles were down from the plane, and others who said there were. Ive read that it hit the ground and bounced, or the wing touched the ground and spun it back up, and Ive heard that it never touched the ground. Ive read many things. But the fact is it hit the pentagon. |

And, of course, adding to the steaming soup of conspiracy theory, is the recent comment by US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, that referred to the plane downed over Pennsylvania as "shot down". I thought loose lips sink ships, not down planes. What a dumbass. |

"I wish people would spend more time using the mind to reasonably question such idiotic theories than juts blindly accepting (and perpetuating) any moronic theory that is put forth on the web."
You say to people that they shouldn't accept these, as you put it, moronic theories without using their mind about it. Well how do you know that they are all mindless sheep JUST BECAUSE they don't believe what you do? So you are right? Maybe you watch Fox News and hang on every word they say. Then when people disagree with your ideas you say 'learn to think for yourself!'. If that's not being a hypocrite... |

At the end of the day, does it really matter what hit the pentagon, or the fact that something did and people died? Should we really blame the US government for this or the terrorists who did it? Sure, the government might have had crucial information beforehand and didn't warn anyone about it but at the end of the day, they weren't the ones who actually carried out the attack. It's the same here is Australia. Some are saying that our government had been warned of terrorist attacks in indonesia and they didn't give out a travel warning. Then a lot of people died in the bali bombings. The Government may have acted irresponsibly but at the end of the day, it was a terrorist group who killed all thoses people.
NOw look what you've made me do! I'm rambling...
Am I even still making a valid point?
Anyhow, I know what I'm getting at and that's all that really matters

Hey Hank, for starters, it was Al "Mr. Internet inventor" Gore, that started the whole vote counting fiasco, and no matter how many times they were counted, he lost, Dumbass! Not one person was saying anything about being disinfranchised until they learned that the election was close in Florida. Why hasn't there been any liberal papers that have re-counted the votes and said that Al did win? Oh I know why, because he didn't win, the votes weren't there dipshit. Now I think that the republicans need to do a lot of work, and Bush isn't doing crap on the border, and this just opens the door for another 9/11. I'm not a republican, nor am I a democrat, but I'd sure vote for a democrat just as soon as they promise that they'll stop giving handouts to these people who sit on welfare and rape the system, and use my tax dollars to do it. I'd vote for a democrat as soon as they promise to drop the agenda of liberal minded teachings in school. Let's get back to focusing on reading, math, and what counts instead of trying to push for the school counselor to give the okay for my daughter to get birth control or an abortion. Those are things that I should be in control over, and I'll leave the math to the teachers okay! Maybe then we'll not be in the bottom of the barrel when it comes to scholastics. |

I've been puzzling over this question for a while:
Does it really matter whether or not there are government coverups?
I feel that it is important, but it seems to me that my behavior won't change much whether I believe there was a coverup or not, so I'm not sure why it seems important to me. Maybe I think that when a government coverup is exposed, it makes a whole crapload of people wake up and smell the effluvia that the ruling class dumps on us. Still, does that really happen? I mean, have there been any conspiracy theories that led to a great change in human history?
I mean, besides the theory that King George was screwing us, as put forward by Thomas Paine and which led to the birth of our country. Have there been any other? |
