Here is a Flash animation that perpetuates the hoax of a French author about what happened at the Pentagon on 9/11/01. The implication is that it was not a plane that hit but a missle.

However, despite the claim that there was no aircraft wrekage, a short Google search leads to many images showing twisted aluminum, luggage and an engine. Selective images can be used to promote any absurd theory, as any examination of a 'Moon Program was a hoax' site will show

To be a bit more precise, it's not just "The French" who have postulated the theory that it was no airliner that hit the Pentagon. Several sites have shown photos of the hole left in the Pentagon, and if those photos are unretouched, they show a hole approximately 60 feet wide, and 45 feet high. The dimensions of the airliner are approx. 125 feet wide (wingspan) and 65 feet high (tail section). Witness accounts have said that the airliner came in low and scraped the ground for hundreds of feet before hitting the Pentagon, yet many photos show trees 100 feet or so from the impact point that were untouched. Several surveillance cameras in the surrounding area along the purported jet's path have not shown images of the airliner on approach...Did the jet's wings fold back symetrically? Did the fire that was hot enough to burn metal to ashes leave the papers in the offices exposed by the impact unsinged? Too many questions to flippantly suggest that any who wonder are conspriracy nuts... If you think the french are idiots, then perhaps you should give them back the statue of liberty, or the countless other contributions that they made to your country. also: much of this confusion over the bomb/plane issue stems from this: reporters who visited the pentagon on unrelated stories that day (like a team from the TOday show) reported hearing "what sounded like a bomb" in the pentagon. of course, no one ever says "that sounded like a plane crash" so the rumour got some factual steam. |

In the video it mentions a few times "that the tapes were never released" I think that the government is a little more busy studying the tapes to call up CNN. "Yeah here is the tape." CNN was probably too busy filling the channels with stories about 9/11. And I hope no one is using the "tapes never returned" argument. Do you know how fast those things would end up on ebay. |

What you're seeing on the Internet is a familiar tactic. To take away from the real fact finding, idiot stories like "there was no plane that crashed into the Pentagon" are put forth into the media. It just adds to the confusion.
The fact is, a plane did crash into the Pentagon. There was wreckage. It hit right at the ground and actually went into the first floor (below ground). The people died. It was done by idiot terrorists.
I wish people would spend more time using the mind to reasonably question such idiotic theories than juts blindly accepting (and perpetuating) any moronic theory that is put forth on the web.

People just like to make up conspiraces with a thin amount of information. Always saying that the CIA has something to do with messing with the government. But of those those people live in little shacks coming up with these ideas.
When I was looking at the videos for the Pentagon I saw on a site that said that a plane didnt hit one of the towers, it was a fighter jet.
Some people really need a hobby. |

i have a question, why wasnt there the same amount of smoke and burning as there was in the World Trade center? i live in nyc and there was smoke for days after, (around 4 days) why was the fire put out so easily? also, what about all the undamaged objects in and around the pentagon? in the film of the smaller plane "hitting" the pentagon, you see a small white streak, which is left by a missle after passing by, "bunker busting" missiles can do the same exact damage shown in this flash film, including the "little punctured hole". I do belive that my government is lying about many things, this, J.F.K. Marlyn Monroe, and many other things, im sad to say it but i can no longer trust my own government. |

There are certain things that are without question...
Bush's posse shouldn't have been elected in the first place! Whoever it was that RE-elected them should be ashamed.
Florida was the biggest voting scam since the last pre-invasion Iraqi election. Team Bush opposed any and every attempt to recount the disputed votes becaue they knew they'd lose the popular vote. Which they did! The booing an egg-pelting Bush received on his way to be sworn in speaks volumes.
The Bush Whitehouse refused to open a commission into 9/11 immediately. Noone has ever explained why! If your country was attacked so visciously would you not want to get things rolling to find out HOW, straight away?
Bush etc. lied about Iraq's weapons and has placed thousands of America's children in harm's way for greed. The first Gulf War was about oil, so is this one. It just happens that Iraq is in the Middle East, therefore it's assumed that they are, or that they know, terrorists.
This war has provided a recruitment bonanza for groups like al-Qaeda - it has proven everything Osama has ever said about the US.
The US installed Saddam as a dictator in the first place so they could have a tame attack-dog in the Oil Belt, then they sold him the chemical weapons that he used on Iranian forces in the 80s - the very pretext they used to invade. An invasion which, by the way, breaches the US Constitution as well as International Law.
Gulf War I happened because Saddam got off the leash and invaded an oil-rich, US-friendly dictatorship (Kuwait). Bush I didn't finish the job - why?
The continuing unfolding torture stories of POWs in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay speak of a US military hierarchy (ultimately responsbile to the Commander-in-Chief) with no regard for International Law, the Geneva Conventions or basic human dignity.
Colin Powell was ditched because he disagreed with the Bush Team assessment of - practically everything. Condi Rice will now be his willing Yes woman.
The next four years will be spent wreaking so much havoc on the US economy (already the largest budget and foreign debt holes since the Depression), the US people (repressive Patriot Act) and the world (stop watching Fox! You might learn something from an impartial source) that it will take the next administrations decades to put it right. If any of them happen to be Democrats (who I still fail to be impressed by), the Republicans will blame THEM.
Given Team Bush's willingness to lie, break laws and pretty much do what they want to achieve their own ends I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if they had anything more to do with 9/11 besides incompetence. I don't necessarily believe that they do, but if Sherriff George pointed to a cow today and said "Look, there's a cow" I would make sure it had horns and an udder. Even then I wouldn't be so sure. |

Thanks for the link Myst, I find it interesting. I have been questioning the crash for a long time now, and am curious as to how the plane made it that far in the first place. I thought the airspace around the pentagon was restricted. If in fact it is, then wouldn't it be safe to say that the people monitoring that airspace really f#%$ed up, or that the plane was allowed to get to that point? Just something I heard a while back. |
