Baker Family Hoax

We were visiting my grandmother's cousin in the 1950s, and our cousin mentioned that the Baker Family was gathering money (again) for another legal battle with the city of Philadelphia. It seems the city had stripped the Baker heirs of their rightful inheritance, and the family was initiating another lawsuit. It wasn't until I ran across this web site that the two Baker descendants had fallen victim to a swindle:
