Turns out it was made up as a marketing piece for his new movie.

its funny how the opinions are equally divided. the documentary was too staged sometimes, true, but not one person could prove it to be totally made up. and the reason people areclaiming its a hoax is cause that the only way it would cover up for the mess they made, i mean, even with the publicity that this doc brings to M. Night who would put up with 100000 of people thinking that you actually are "gifted" in that weird way. Seriously, the hoax theory is to return M. Nights reputation of a "normal man". Cause look how many people are scared to face even the slightest possibility that it might be true....

I had my doubts as I watched the documentary. I only ended up seeing the last hour, but I was rather intruiged. I could only go by what my sister told me about the beginning, but it sounded fascinating, so I watched.

I believed it up until the point where they're in the house and the crows flew out at the camera and they had the film of the boy in the mirror. I knew it *had* to be fake...or at least beefed up to be a bit more suspenseful. And the lady who showed the crew around the house acted BEYOND freaked out. Wasn't she supposed to be a real estate agent? What kind of agent acts like that about a house she is trying to sell?

It wasn't until today that I found out for sure that it was a hoax, but I had my suspicions the whole time about pumping up hype for The Village. It worked! I probably would have waited a few weeks before I would have gone to see it. Instead, after seeing the "docu" I hit the theaters two days later to watch The Village, watched Signs three times on Starz, and rented The 6th Sense.

It was a brilliant move, even if it was misleading. I do feel like I was duped and the network should not have lied...but it worked.

Point of this post: Does anyone know where or when it might be airing again? I would love to watch the first half. If you do, please email me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Thanks!

heya. ermmm i'm from england and i to saw that programe. i thought it was really werid. and it freaked me out a bit. i looked at that website you posted. and it actually loaded for me. i managed to get onto that site. and a few ppls were on it, and i didn't really chat to them, but all i can say is that that site definatly works. it loads up and to the left it has different ares you can go on to. and a few chat rooms, you can even make your own ones up. when i went on as i said a few people were chatting. i don't know why every one says it doesn't work. because on my computer it does. maybe it just requires you download a certain thing for it to download...

I have no idea if people still look at this site but I got to tell you that I personally know that M. was in on the Doc. When they were in the woods and he was talking to his "so called" friend wouldnt M. know they were there? Also when they were in the The old house near WestChester and they saw the little boy in the mirror why would he be there instead of with M.?
Look at it as the Blair Witch project people still think it's real but didnt they come out and say it was a hoax. People dont understande M. like I do, and dont say you do because you dont. I could go on all night opening the facts of this documentary but I feel maybe i did enough. also for those people looking for the web site it was only done for the documentary and then it was closed.

Maybe the website has been turned back on.

if the website is real what is it? for the Chat room.

Well, I have seen this doc. many times and I believe there are things out there that are supernatural, but this was not real. No one will probably read this, but I thought I would write anyway. If anyone is looking for some truly supernatural tales. Email me at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
My grandmother was deep into black magic while she was also posing as a christian. I can offer some proof.

i think that there are alot of factors to considure in this movie. i mean if you were m. night and you had that gift would you want some jerk-off director in your face, stalking you! but then it was a pretty good movie to watch for kicks! lol
m. night is a really awesome director and some thing like this is a bad hit to his rep. but why do we fall?
to pick ourselfs back up.
what i am wondering is... is that sight on the movie real? NEED A REPLY!!!!

Obviously some people are taking comments on this site a little too seriously and are making very ingnorant accusations. If "certain people" would actually read was was being written, they would know we all love M Night and we do not discriminate against any person's ethnicity. So, if you are looking to start confrontation, I would suggest you get bent.
