But maybe the frog was. Lamarkian inheritance may be true in that formerly repressed genes come into play, but I don't think any new genes can be created in the process. I'm not a biologist, though, but it would be nice to hear what a modern biologist has to say on the matter; did the frog really change to that degree? |
