I am able to freeze (for between 5-10 seconds) a swinging pendulum on a computer screen using just the power of my thoughts.
I sent the results off to Randi but heard nothing
back.

It's real enough. Perhaps your 'remote viewing' didn't quite get the gist of the conditions. Try using ordinary 'via-the-eyes' viewing.
In brief.
Person A makes a claim. A and JREF agree what constitutes a successful demonstration of the claim and the conditions under which the claim will be tested beforehand. The test is carried out. Using the pre-agreed criteria, it's success or failure is judged. That way neither side gets to move the goal-posts because they didn't like the results.
What sort of dimwit is going to cough up a million dollars to someone for sending in their home made 'proof'. If you've got these fantastic powers you should be able to wander down to JREF and demonstrate them. If they only work when you control all the variables and no-one is allowed to watch, well that just ain't supernatural pal.

This is J.Randi for ya:
Shameful Behavior by James Randi
Psychic Magazine have learned of some atrocious behavior by James Randi in his testing of a very cute and sweet little girl.
The little girl can see things even when fully blindfolded, and wanted to try the Randi Challenge.
Randi agreed. But when he saw that the girl was the real thing, he decided to cause her to "fail." Actually, she passed the challenge, but Randi decided to rig it so it would look like she failed.
What Randi did is almost too cruel to mention. He put so much tape on her head that she nearly smothered, and he shouted at her and required her to speak in an unfamiliar language. By the time it was over, the girl was crying and unable to perform.
There can be only one reason for Randi's behavior. He didn't want to keep his side of the deal, where the girl would win the money with her natural abilities.
We at Psychic Magazine were skeptical of this story at first, because we could not bring ourselves to believe that even somebody like James Randi would be so cruel to a cute little girl. But after investigation we became convinced. Now nothing would shock us about James Randi's behavior. In fact, we have learned that in testing some psychics, James Randi makes the psychic sign an agreement not to sue if there is personal injury, and then Randi locks the psychic in a sack. And we believe it, too.
I guess he'll do anything to keep his money.

Hi All,
WE LOVE YOU JAMES RANDI
To be fair to James & Museum of Hoaxes, they both have done/are doing EXTREMELY VALUABLE work in defeating GENUINE HOAXES/HOAXERS, for which we ALL are ETERNALLY grateful.
James has done a SUPERB job in bringing awareness of the Paranormal to people worldwide.
James has done an equally SUPERB job of holding back the floodgates of the Paranormal.
Stopping the TIDE of the Paranormal, so that people are NOT automatically dictated to by their Governments from birth that the Paranormal is REAL, but are instead left to make up their own minds.
However, the time has probably now come where the veil can finally be taken down that has prevented us all from seeing.
That we are finally grown up enough, and adult enough, and brave enough to take it on the chin, the news that the Paranormal in fact REALLY DOES EXIST.
The GOOD NEWS is that Demons CAN be defeated.
There are people out there who HAVE defeated their Demons, and can and will help YOU to do the same.
We will soon slay ALL our Demons, and enter a beautiful bright sunlit world in which our most wonderful dreams will finally come TRUE and where we will all live in GENUINE LOVE & HAPPINESS, forever.
And I would recommend it to you, Anyzon1. It's exactly what you're talking about.

Congratulations to Toby Alexander!!! I wish I had the patience to make the business that he has out of selling nothing to the poor sods who believe it in the abscence of any scientific or logical reasoning. He must be laughing all the way to the bank.
DNA activation sounds a bit risky to me, do I really want the DNA responsible for my penis activated in the wrong places?? I think Ill leave my body to do the job its perfectly capable of on its own thanks.
In the real world there's a thing called peer reveiwed scientific journals, which Im sure would be happy to recieve Toby's scientific proofs and theories to be published in the proper manner.
Oh and to those who think they sensed a benefit from sending money to someone they have never seen or recieved anything from, there is a common phenomenon called the placebo effect, and no its not a scientific term for unexplained spiritual effects, look into the proper research into it for a perfectly reasonable physical explanation.

Let's just remember that this isn't Randi's place...It's Alex's. So...Less shout outs for Randi...More for Alex, Mm...k?

Its a waste of time trying to convince people like you. What Ajay has mentioned holds a lot of weight, a request do us all a favor stay away from this forum as you are spoiling the environment.
This thread has taken a little turn.....I am starting to see a new breed of people. It always amazes me.

Interesting. I talked to my higher self about this and it confirmed that all of this is true. In fact, it has just invented its own process - DNA Detailing - that goes beyond DNA activation. You are all too unenlightened to understand how it works, but we can explain it to you in simple terms during the first phase - called "DNA Wash." You do not have to be present for this process. We can access your DNA remotely through the swipe strip on the back of your credit card.
The second step can also be done remotely, but is a bit more complicated. "DNA Wax" requires you to be in a cool and dark location, such as a basement, and be facing toward true north.
The final step requires you to travel to our science lab in Kwala-Ballah (it is located near the famous astroteleportion eastern regional depot and dry cleaning). There, we will "hand dry" your DNA, "polish" the double helix exterior, and "vacuum" the enterior of the double helix.
It really, really works. Not only do I have a gleam in my smile, but I found that I can slice and dice, shoot salad, and go fishing with only the lint in my pocket. And it's only 19.95 (US).

Thought I'd take this opportunity to communicate to any past customers who did not receive our telephathic mass message. We are offering one free DNA wash to remove the "DNA spot free rinse" agent. We have found it works TOO good. One of our customers notified us that after his first treatment - his dog ran away. We sent a field team (our DNA Doctors (tm) - Screamin' mad at DNA Dirt) and found the dog in the kitchen waiting for his dinner. We were confounded, since the customer could not see the dog!!!! We finally figured it out when he called to his dog - his name was Spot!

So what is "people like me" ROXY?
Someone who is sharing their own personal experiences of having had their DNA activated is not what I call poisoning the environment?
You are correct in the sense that you cannot convince me though that it is a scam! because I am my own proof that it is real. Wether you believe it or not, thats fine.I decline your request to stay away! It is a free world & every now & then, I enjoy checking out this forum & the different characters shining through their true colours!Even the nasty ones! I'd rather read something to laugh about though. Like what "My Higher Self" had to say - good humour & witty.

Hey, we're famous!
The other weekly, UK science magazine NewScientist covers 'DNA Activation' in its humorous Feedback section, complete with mention of this very forum.
I guess Toby is now able to use 'as featured in NewScientist' in his next batch of literature.

After reading in the forum about the excellent work done by Marlana (at marlana.org) I decided to try her services. Paid $90 for 3 house of cards + $39.95 for her DNA activation. What a waste of money!!! Received 3 e-mails (mostly automated duplicates of each other, except for a couple of lines in each), the day after placing the order stating that she had done the work, and that she had also activated the DNA (but...and I don't recall seeing this on the site... she said it could "take up to 3 years for the DNA activation" to be activated or whatever. Bottom line -- the pocketbook is $130.00 lighter.... and absolutely NOTHING happened, no changes of any kind. Had I not seen the emails, wouldn't have even had a clue that she had "done the work"! (:>)
Also, in case anyone has bought into the almost $3k cost of the "holoysnc" cds that are being hawked all over the net these days....bought their first Awakening Prologue Cd, plus the one on anti-aging. Used them both exactly as instructed for almost 4 wks. Results? Nothing, nada, zero. When I sent them an e-mail asking about the lack of any observable changes -- received a return e-mail that said "depending on how the person processes, it takes a year or more for some people to see changes...
Seems as though the rah-rah stuff always changes from the great "testimonials" to a whole 'nother tune when the promises and statements don't pan out.
However, guess as long as there are those of us who genuinely want to grow and expand our consciousness....there will always be the hucksters to pander to us. Oh well, what goes round comes round, and they will receive in kind, in time.

amberglow1,
How can you say DNA activation had no effect? Aren't you now living proof of its effectiveness?
You read a whole forum of posts from people praising it, pushing it, criticizing it, mocking it, shilling for it, etc. And from this you took away a strong impression "about the excellent work done by Marlana (at marlana.org)". Strong enough to cough up $130 to have your DNA activated.
Judging by your last post, I would guess that Marlana has lightly stimulated your common sense gene, partially triggered your bulls**t detection gene, and possibly activated those genes in your retina that perceive tints other than rose.
If you "genuinely want to grow and expand [y]our consciousness" there are plenty of books in your public library that'll help for free. Stop looking for a quick fix to a better life and put the work in.
Oh well, what goes round comes round, and they will receive in kind, in time.
You can't buy yourself a better karma, a better aura, or a deeper soul.
"In studying the history of the human mind one is impressed again and again by the fact that the growth of the mind is the widening of the range of consciousness, and that each step forward has been a most painful and laborious achievement." -- Carl Jung.

i think it's funny how some who post on this subject don't think humans have energy fields. how are you alive then? what animates the body? what leaves the body when a person dies? why do doctors use ELECTRIC paddles to SHOCK stroke/heartattack victims? oh, to jumpstart the heart, and other organs which run on ELECTRICITY, electricity that produces an electromagnetic field, which all electrical current does. why is it bad to stick your finger in a light socket? because too much ELECTRICITY will overload something - circuits? in humans? electrical circuits as in acupuncture meridians! go argue with a billion chinese people who have relied on acupuncture for thousands of years to heal and cure them (with a much higher success rate than "scientific" western drug-pusher doctors) about the issue of bioelectricity before you dismiss something just because you haven't been exposed to it or don't comprehend it yet.

Yes, but if a billion Chinese can't be wrong, why aren't more Americans pro-Communist?
I like the generalization from the average cell's 50mV resting potential to electric circuits running around the acupuncture meridians. That's got to be the biggest reach since Mr. Fantastic, congrats.
By the way... EVERY cell in your BODY uses CHEMICAL ENERGY. This energy comes from UNSTABLE high-energy compounds, just like EXPLOSIVES! Why is it dangerous to get to close to a stick of DYNAMITE? Because the CHEMICAL ENERGY of the dynamite OVERLOADS something. Go argue with the six billion people who have been using CHEMICAL ENERGY to kill people for centuries. You are a BIG , WALKING BOMB; go stand in a bucket of water IMMEDIATELY!
Oh and electricity (sorry, ELECTRICITY) moves at the speed of light, nerve impulses move at about 10 feet per second. Spot the difference.

Humans are lonley, miserable, small beings that want to know that they are not lonley, miserable, or small. Can't solve that problem unless you change your mind about being all the things you want to know you aren't. Good Luck and God bless.
P.S. more fuel for the fire eh? lol

so you agree there is ELECTRICITY in the body, even if 50mV in cells is still a small amount. thanks for proving my point. but if you want to use chemical energy as an example of energy in the body, fine - it's still energy, and i was talking about people not thinking there could possibly be a human energy field. i don't care if you believe in accupuncture or not, you believe in energy in the body.
and by the way, Bill Nuy, ELECTRICITY flows at the rate that electrons line up (much slower than the speed of light), this K-6 science textbook misconception site claims.
