I saw one in captive at the Metro Toronto Zoo one day I was taking my students on a field trip. I would like to point out that these spiecies of octopus become very irrated with young children, as they kept banging on the glass whenever the children walked by. |

Come on, guys! Tree Octopuses are totally real! Just like the tooth fairy, Santa, and Billy the easter bunny! (I've seen them all before) Come to think of it, I HUNT Tree Octopi. I eat them, too. They are very nutritious, yet squishy when fried. My favorite kind is the Albino Tree Octopus of South Carolina. If you boil the ink, it turns yellow and makes a great sauce for marinating the tenticals in. Yum! |

um okayy. a white octopus that lives in a tree that changes colors when its angery? ummm. no. there no such thing. its all a bunch of BULLSHIT. and what fantastic pictures there are. its baically an octopus coppied and pasted on to a tree with some photoshopping to make it look as real as possible. these idiots sure no how to waste their time. |

for those of you who dont beilive in the vicous tree octopus i have a true story to tell. last summer i was vacationing with my family in Olympia when we decied to take an educational tour of the rain forest. My 3 sons, david, danny, and micheal were squriming in their seats on the car ride to the forest. we were all so excited to see what we would find in the beatiful vast lands. as we stepped out of the vechile and started our long journey through the high, green trees, my youngest son, micheal spotted something high up in one of the trees. we all looked at the unusual creature in amazement. then all of a sudden, the family felt a sudden jolt. we were expercing our first ever earthquake. the creatrue that was perched up on the tree started tumbling town the branches uncontrollably. after about 10 minutes it fell to the ground with a loud thud. not notcing, my son micheal ran away after it to see what it was. after the eathquake finally stopped we relize he was gone. we could hear faint noises of my baby's cries. when we fianlly found him his face was covered and burried in the mouth of what happend to be an octopus. scaried and shocked we tried our best to get the thing off my baby. and when we did his hair was gone and is beautiful face was covered in a deep black ink. we rushed hinm to the hospital. but we were terrified that he might not make it becuase we stranded in the middle of the rain forest. fortunatley, we made it and after 12 hours in the ER my little micheal was saved but servely tramatized. he is doing better now. and is seeing a therapist 5 times a wek to get over the shock. he is improving every day and we only hope the best for him. these tree octopuses are diffrently real and alomst killed my beloved baby boy. |
