I was viciously attacked by a tree octopus while picking waknuts near Olympia last fall. It droped from the canopy and landed on my shoulder . I fought it off and managed to escape with only a few hickeys (sucker marks)on my arms and face. So nut pickers beware

Saw a Kangaroo Bird with two young in its pouch in the same general area as the Tree Octopus.
Could it be that there is a common denominator in the environment that enables the creatures to survive. Maybe a type of shroom?

Yeah. It's a very nice site though, don't you think? Lovely colours, and some pretty ingenious Photoshopping too... tongue laugh

XD I can't believe you guys are that stupid: to believe that junk and to think others will too "Kangaroo Bird"? Marsupials are a type of mammal, first of all, and secondly, a bird would be to heavy to fly if it could carry its young =P Its like people thinking Armadillos will roll into a ball when they see something predator-looking coming: it just doesn't happen. (Yes, they do roll into balls, but only as a last line of defense.)

I find Lalf's reasoning interesting: Its like people thinking Armadillos will roll into a ball when they see something predator-looking coming: it just doesn't happen. (Yes, they do roll into balls, but only as a last line of defense.)
People are stupid to believe in something that happens?
