No. It's a generic-type feejee mermaid. But it's not THE feejee mermaid popularized by PT Barnum. Barnum's mermaid was either lost or destroyed in a fire.
I have no idea where this mermaid comes from. But there are lots of these strange-looking creations floating around out there.

Allow me to enlighten you. It's a monkey put together with a fish. You should be able to tell it's a monkey's face from the top-left photo. This reminds me of a photo of bigfoot in a tabloid. I could tell it was fake after less than ten seconds. For one thing, the gorilla costume that was presented as "bigfoot" had no mask, and the face was shown. So it had the face of a human. And, in plain sight, was a zipper running down "bigfoot's" back.
I'd like to leave you with my comment, all though this posting may be old, that is vary creepy all though i've seen that picture before its hard to believe that people can find things such as that, I mean I have seen worse and weirder pictures than this but ya..
