The Ghosts of Versailles: Comments
(most recent posts first)

I have loved this story since I first read it and hope it is true. I spent a lot of time in the gardens of Versailles as a child, especially in the area around the Petit Trianon, as my mother could let us children run free there while my father took photographs. I remember some odd days when the landscape would become dull and flattened in appearance as mentioned by Moberley and Jourdain. I never saw anything, though I have had numerous experiences elsewhere. I finally went back 48 years later and was delighted to find it all as quiet and private as I remembered, though sans the big trees. It still feels like home.

As a descendant of the moberly family i am well aquainted with this story. Aunt Caroline saw many other supernatural and weird things during her lifetime, not just these ghosts
